Dr Yancheng Li is currently a Senior Lecturer in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Core Member of Centre for Built Infrastructure Resilience at the University of Technology Sydney.  His research interests are structural dynamics, structural control, structural health monitoring and deep learning assisted infrastructure maintenance. To date, Dr Li has published 1 book, 3 book chapters, 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and 41 conference papers. He is associate editors of several international journals, such as Journal of Intelligent Material Systems and Structures & Frontiers in Materials. He was selected in “the World’s Top 2% Scientists List” by Stanford University consecutively for 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
