PhD candidate

Boshi Qian is a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering at UNSW Canberra with a strong academic research background,  proven analytical skills, and over seven years of industry experience, holding a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Boshi’s current research study focuses on developing reliability-based metrics for carbon emissions of each stage of infrastructure to assess and manage uncertainties. By establishing and analysing carbon emission inventory database for different stages of infrastructure lifecycle, he aims to improve prediction accuracy and help to develop robust methods to determine carbon neutrality index.
