Dr Mani Khezri joined this project as a Research Associate, bringing expertise in sustainable infrastructure systems and advanced computational modelling. His work focuses on integrating structural reliability, life-cycle carbon assessment, and long-term economic considerations to support low-carbon and resilient infrastructure decision-making. He has strong experience in probabilistic analysis, optimisation, and data-driven modelling, and works closely with industry and utility partners to translate research outcomes into practical tools for sustainable asset management.

Current research focus
His current research focuses on the development of integrated, data-driven decision frameworks for infrastructure asset management, with particular emphasis on water distribution networks and structural systems. This work combines probabilistic deterioration and reliability modelling with life-cycle carbon and cost assessment to support optimal renewal timing and material selection. A key aim is to enable infrastructure owners to balance structural safety, environmental performance, and long-term economic efficiency, contributing to more resilient and low-carbon infrastructure systems.
